"Suburban Sepulchre" written, directed and produced by Vincent Veloso has been named an Official Selection of the 2018 Diwa Filipino Film Showcase of Seattle. The festival is June 1 – 3, 2018
The Diwa Filipino Film Showcase of Seattle is film festival made in cooperation with the annual Pagdiriwang Philippine Festival, celebrating the Filipino Spirit wherever it resides, by exhibiting films from the Philippine islands and beyond.
Filmmakers of all skill levels are encouraged to apply. Anyone can join, as long as your work is about the Filipino or Diasporic Filipino experience. - Narrative, documentary, and experimental films are welcome.
Admission for all screenings is free and open to everyone! This year's line-up of films from the Philippines and the Filipino diaspora promises to be very exciting, with film subjects ranging from indigenous women's rights to sustainable tourism to Typhoon Haiyan.
